Ics fair to beat sheik fair Spam / bully mode / avoid corner grabs
avoid getting grabbed in the corner
ifyou land in blizzard, sdi up to avoid grab and save jump
ICs can do double up air when you're shielding on the edge of a plat, first will push you off so the second will hit
ICs will up smash to catch you coming off plats, hit you through plats, and to catch you jumping away bc you saw them wd in
if they are separated, you can land with aerial vs popo w/o too much worry about nana attacking but if you go for nana be ready for popo to rush in insantly with wd grab/d smash mix up - know when they could true punish you - if popo can, just go for popo damage and a stray hit on nana on your way out - 1 aerial hit on nana is not worth playing a mix up that could lead to getting grabbed
- When Nana & Popo are like <= 40% (like 3 aerials), play very safe, get needles and spam them through ice block / blizzard if you have adv, run to side plats and make them chase you
- stuff like punish both climber fh up air with shield drop fair / empty shield drop dash away rising bair
- if they have good desyncs, be patient for a chance, don't bite right away vs. like single climber sh up air, etc, can run to top plat to recharge shield / avoid a good desync set up
- if they pull back when you're on plats, can needle and run off fair, just be careful off them up smashing you coming off plats
- be careful of up smash and f smash when coming down from plats
when nana are popo are >= 40%, i think sheik should go sicko mode and be aggro
bully with low nair and fair and occasional bair (bair mostly from plats) - fair is good to keep pressure up and get % - low nair is very good at separating the climbers when in bully mode, if they are synced up:
- ICS are synced and in shield facing you => spam spaced fair and nair to pressure shield | they don't have the aerial drift to deal with the downward 45 degree angle of fair via up air if you max space, which also avoids grab
- if they are synced and face you and drop shield / are crouching => still spam fair and nair | if they get hit they will turn around so d smash will hit later (hits frame 6 but behind them)
- if they are synced and have their back towards you and are shielding | spam fair and nair and mix in spaced f tilt to catch them dropping shield to bair or wd out | can also d tilt the bair as well
ICs will typically do something like below:
- they try to catch you landing with their WD d smash OOS (d smash knocks down at 0 if you get hit in the air)
- if you do late aerials you either hit them in start up of WD or you can DJ away to a plat / DJ to just reset timing if they WD as you are rising up, then you can mix up with ff / no ff and fair or bair to land
- if they notice you DJ away to beat the WD d smash, they'll sometimes to up smash to catch the DJ or just empty wave dash then chase with aerial after | you can DJ air dodge to a plat if possible, can also just do early DJ to a plat to reset
- some ICS will instant full drift up air to try to challenge the late fair / nairs | you can back flip / drift back in start up to help avoid
- some ICs (noticed this vs connor) will premptively challenge you entering bully mode with FH fair, FH nair, and FH up air full drift toward callouts | i don't think this is that good / not good to do super often, if you stay grounded and just wait you can rising fair and bair them after they whiff, you just want to be pretty far away and maybe bait them into this with an empty hop at the edge of their WD length
mentioned before, resetting to plats to exit "bully mode" is good especially when you do it after a hit separates them / gets them desynced, you can wait for a good chance to get a quick run off plat fair / bair to hit nana off stage, then its just a matter of lame-ing out Sopo
needles are very good at messing w/ ics when off stage to catch their jumps / mess up their up b
i don't focus on killing nana when she's below 40% bc theres no easy way to, focusing too much on that will get you grabbed and killed, play patient then bully mode and then a quick efficient kill with fair + needle and probably a fair or something to swat popo away
stay patient, it's ok if you don't kill nana right at 45%, it's not worth the risk to over extend / try to make play and then get grabbed by popo while nana gets back, just let them get back if popo can easily guard nana's DJ back and then reset and find a way to bully them again
i only go off stage to kill nana if its right where she does the dumb DJ and its with a fair for that, its close enough to stage where i can DJ / even air dodge back on to the side plat / ground as well
Knockdowns
when you're above 30%, you'll start getting put into tumble from up air, be aware when moving around plats so you can wiggle out fast and recover, d smash and up smash send you into tumble at 0%
Sheik > 0% => up smash, d smash Sheik > 30% => up air
there are the %s where an AI nana will get put into tumble from your moves (she probably won't be ASDI-ing down / CCing on her own, if they are synced and CCing, typically Sheik syndrome occurs lol)
Nana > 30% => dash attack, d smash Nana > 35% => f tilt Nana > 45% => nair Nana > 50% => fair
